I have a busy line-up of events this fall (and will post a full schedule soon), but one of the things I'm most looking forward to is my first visit to the Orange County Children's Book Festival. This takes place Sunday, October 2, two days before Dark Vengeance, Vol. 1 will officially be released--but there will be copies available at the Festival! I'm on a panel called "Paranormal Tendencies" at 2 pm, with Emma Michaels, Inara Scott, Cindy Pon, and Gretchen McNeil. Other people appearing throughout the day include pals Nancy Holder, Amber Benson, adn DJ MacHale. I'll be signing books after the panel, but Mysterious Galaxy will be selling books all day, so I'll likely be around that booth most of the time.
It'll be a great day, and here's something extra cool--if you're in Southern CA and you're a teen and you're a blogger (or you know someone who meets these criteria), drop me an e-mail at jmariotte@aol.com, and I'll put you in touch with the festival organizers so you can sign up as a member of their SoCal Press Corp> That'll get you into the festival with a special VIP Press Pass! So write to me, and tell your friends who blog!

Jeff - I look forward to meeting in the OC! BTW - the bloggers in our SoCal Press Corp are not all teens so any librarians or adults that write blogs for teens are also welcome to join us also!
